He is a shortstop for the Minnesota Twins of Major League Baseball

He previously played for the Houston Astros

The Astros selected Correa with the first overall selection of the 2012 MLB draft.

Correa signed with the Astros on June 7, 2012 with a $4.8 million signing bonus

In 216, he became the youngest player in the Astros' history to hit a home run on Opening Day.

On March 22, 2022, Correa signed a three-year contract with the Minnesota Twins for $105.3 million
