Celebrity Jen Shah pleads guilty in fraud case

Shah and her assistant Stuart were arrested in connection with a telemarketing scheme

Shah will not go to trial, which was set to begin on July 18. She pleaded guilty to one charge of conspiracy to commit wire fraud in connection with telemarketing

In turn, count two, conspiracy to commit money laundering, was dropped.

"Jennifer Shah was a key participant in a nationwide scheme that targeted elderly, vulnerable victims," U.S. Attorney Damian Williams said in a press release.

Shah's plea deal came with a sentencing guideline, according to sources

The reality TV star can be sentenced to prison for anywhere from 135 to 168 months, or  11 to 14 years

The Bravo star originally insisted she had not taken a plea deal because she was "innocent."
