This show is taking over for The Ellen DeGeneres Show as American talk show host cries sorrowful goodbye; recounts terrible episode 19 years ago

In the previous 19 years, American talk show presenter Ellen DeGeneres has become a household name not only in the United States, but across the globe.

The famous talk show host has now said a sorrowful farewell to her television career.

The business that distributed her programme announced the change as Ellen recounted the awful event she experienced 19 years ago.

The famed TV personality recounted that when The Ellen DeGeneres Show originally aired in 2003, she couldn't openly use her wife's name on her show since gay marriage was not legal at the time. Portia de Rossi is her wife.

Ellen, who has also hosted the Oscars in the past, also got a surprise visit from Oprah Winfrey. Her last guests included Jennifer Aniston, Billie Eillish and Pink among others. Jennifer was the guest on the inaugural episode of The Ellen DeGeneres 19 years ago.
