Emporia State confirmed the death on Sunday in a press release.
The Grand River Dam Authority said police recovered a body in 31 feet of water in the Dripping Springs area of Grand Lake at approximately 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
Green was a multi-sport star athlete at Cashion in football and baseball.
He was an all-state wide receiver and defensive back on Cashion’s undefeated 2021 state championship football team, which was the first 11-man title in program history.
Green was voted the most valuable player in District A-3
