Flash flood warning issued for parts of the Stateline

Flash Flood warnings are issued for parts of the Stateline until around 5AM Tuesday.

Some private weather stations have recorded rainfall rates up to 2-3 inches per hour with some of these storms.

While storms are moving out of the area, any potential flooding may take a bit longer to recede.

This is why the warnings are in place so long into the night.

As of 12:30AM, here are the following warnings in place:

Flash Flood Warning for Winnebago and Boone Counties until 5:00AM.

Radar estimates that 1-3 inches of rain has fallen in these areas.

– Flash Flood Warning for McHenry County until 5:15AM. Radar estimates rain rates of 1-2 inches per hour with isolated areas reaching 3 inches per hour.
