Former Michigan and Lions coach Gary Moeller dies at 81

Moeller was a two-time Big Ten coach of the year

Gary Moeller  succeeded  Bo Schembechler as Michigan's coach

He later led the Detroit Lions too

He died on Monday , aged 81

The University of Michigan announced his death, and no cause was provided.

The two-time Big Ten coach of the year won a conference championship in each of his first three years and had four bowl victories, including the 1993 Rose Bowl over Washington.

He is a legendary coach who's lead his team on principles
