James Cameron is speaking out about rumors alleging he is in discussions to make a movie about OceanGate, almost a month after the company's Titan submersible imploded, killing all five passengers.

James Cameron is debunking rumors that allege he is involved in discussions about a potential movie

The director of the Oscar-winning blockbuster Titanic issued a statement on Twitter July 15,

almost a month after the small tourist sub from OceanGate Expeditions imploded underwater off the coast of Newfoundland while diving to the wreckage of the famous Titanic ship,

"I don't respond to offensive rumors in the media usually, but I need to now," Cameron tweeted.

The picture showed the 28-year-old clad in a sunshine yellow swimsuit, with the body ink bouncing off light from the sun.
