Rafael Nadal vs Taylor Fritz from Centre Court quarter-final

Rafael Nadal looks to keep his bid for a calendar Grand Slam alive as he faces Taylor Fritz in the quarter-finals this afternoon.

Despite extremely limited grass-court preparations going into Wimbledon, due to an ongoing battle with a chronic foot injury, Nadal has made it into the last eight and has looked better and better as he’s made his way through the draw.

A potential tricky last-16 clash against Botic van de Zandschulp resulted in a straight-sets win.

This is by far the sternest test he has faced so far though, against a player in Fritz who has not dropped a set all tournament.

The American arrived at SW19 off the back of winning the title at Eastbourne and he has carried that form into Wimbledon.

Fritz came out on top when the pair met in the Indian Wells final earlier this year.

Either Nick Kyrgios or Cristian Garin await the winner in the semi-finals, with Novak Djokovic and Cameron Norrie meeting in the last four on the other side of the draw.

Two more unforced errors from Nadal, Fritz levels the set up again
