Serena, Venus Williams lose in 1st round of US Open doubles

(AP) NEW YORK — Between points, Serena and Venus Williams conversed

while exchanging fist bumps or palm slaps. At changeovers,

they chatted in their seats while grinning. The siblings

hugged one another and departed the court to a standing

ovation after their first doubles match in four and

a half years at the U.S. Open on Thursday night. The Lucie Hradecka
